Last Day in Uruguay!
I must say, i'm really sad, I've had a great experience here, and I couldn't have asked for a better family.
I will without doubt, be thinking about them on the 21 Hours I will spend in transition in, and on, airplanes, today.

Uruguay Trip!
Well, We're entering the last week of the uruguay trip, and I must say, it has been quite and experience.
I definetely have improved my speaking of the spanish language, and gained a new understanding of a deep and colorful culture, but more importantly, i think that the trip has expanded my overall horizons, and enabled me to see how people live outside of the states.
It's been fun! Hopefully the last week won't change anything.

One Week Left
One week left until we find ourselves under the Southern California sun, to have the times of our lives to the tune of American pie and on the nourishment of potatoes. (Ew, LMU Potaytoes)
It's sad to think that this will be the last hurrah for many of us, but for me, it's even more sad to think that some people won't be returning, unable to join us and share the fun.
It will be amazing to see all of the friends and do all of the things that make CTY such a great experience one last time, but it will also be heartbreaking when we have to wake up early on that last friday and go to passionfruit, and say our last words as Students.
I hope, as we all bask in the sun, we also think of those who were unable to join us, and make sure our thoughts are with them, just as surely as their thoughts are with outs.

Nevermore Year
Well, Just So I Hat Trick this Speech, i'm posting it here as well as two other places, no prizes for guessing where they are.
---> Today is the fateful day, that I have feared since I arrived here for this first time, and stood by the fountain, Almost Three Years and Twenty Days Past. I had no idea that this would mean so much, but in hindsight, i have thought about, anticipated, and dreaded the coming of this day for a long time.
Even Now, my mind wanders from the present to the past, to friends who have spoken here in previous years, to friends who were, and are, unable to be here in body, though I have no doubt that they are here in spirit.
When I leave LMU today for the fourth and final time, I leave a place that has been like a second home to me, and as I look around, the only people who I see are dear friends.
Dear friends, who have had an amazing experience together, and we should feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend the times of our lives with such people as the ones that are sitting in this circle. Ultimately, many of us are not here for the classes, but for a different reason. I'm here, as I think many of you are, because of the friendship, because of the cameraderie and feeling of belonging that I think is can only be found in such a truly unique place as CTY.
Of my four year experience, I remember many things,
I remember my RA's, Jorge, Ralf, Jonathan, and (4th RA)
I Remember my roommates, Grant, Seena, Van, and (4th)
I Remember 12 Stairway to Heaven's, 13 It's the end of the world as we know it's, and 12 American Pies.
I remember Jason Boring,Trench, Cubing, Raving, Games of Kemps, The Talent Shows, Saying "Hi Dane", Ultimate Frisbee, Duct Taping Lanyards to students who swing them, getting trampled in the middle of American pie, Ryan Klick, The Neverending Potato Supply at the dining Hall, Chirping the other camps here, and everything else that made and makes CTY mean the world to many of us.
But one memory in particular didn't take place at CTY, but i will remember it till the day that i die.
I was on a plane with my roommate from last year, going home, and as we land in San Francisco, he says,
"Well, we're back home."
My reply was
"Or you could say we just left home."
He just smiled and turned away.
I went down to the sacred store,
Where i heard that music years before
but the man there said the music wouldn't play
And on Doheny, the children dreamed,
Of another year or so it seemed
But not a word was spoken,
the church bells all were broken
And the three men i admired most
The Father, Son, and The Holy Ghost
They Caught the Last Train for the Coast.
The day, the music, died
And they were singin'
Bye bye Miss American Pie,
Drove my chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
and good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey n' rye,
singin' this'll be the day that i die.
This'll be the day that i die.
I love CTY, and I love the passionfruit.

I'm In Uruguay!
Yeah, I'm in uruguay, woohoo.
It's a great place, but i'm noticing a few important differences.
1) There is no ketchup.
2) I CAN'T BEAT ANYONE AT PING PONG IN THIS COUNTRY
3) I still have yet to find a game store.
4) The Ice Cream is amazing.
5) The amount of dog "Leavings" on the street is insane.
6) The food in general is amazing. Not to excited about the insane amounts of beef though.

Random thoughts
You know how mobsters have guys named like...Slim Louie, Fat Rocco, and Slick Jimmy?
Why has there never been a goon named "Average Fred"
...Yes i know it sounds stupid.....It sounded a lot better when I said it in like...a horrible Italian Mobster voice to myself.
